A new product to the North American market from Roth Industries

Solar has been marketed by Roth in Europe for quite some time with great success. With current market forces, such as the increase in energy costs and the heated debate of global warming, the step towards offering a system that addresses these issues seemed logical.

In line with Roth increased focus of protecting the environment in terms of production and product solutions, Roth will introduce its Solar Systems to the North American market in 2008.

Renewable Energy
One of the most important tasks ahead is to find more sources of renewable energy to be able to meet the increasing demand of energy from a constantly growing world population. Renewable energies are derived from energy sources which, from our point of view, are inexhaustible, as opposed to fossilenergy sources, such as coal, oil or gas, which once burnt, have lost every energy potential once and for ever.

Solar Thermal Energy
Solar thermal energy is produced by converting solar radiation into usable heat. The sun rays fall onto a blackened surface made of metal or plastic. This surface absorbs the rays and converts them into heat for hot water production. Solar collectors are embedded in a transparent laminate of glass or plastic which prevents any loss of heat from the absorbers due to radiation.

Economic
The heat source being free, its use for the supply of warm water and / or combined with a hydronic radiant heating system, allows an economy from 30 to 70 % of the annual needs of energy.
